These terms govern your use of ooda.online and any booking you make through it. By making a booking or creating an account you accept them. Please read section 2 in particular — it explains who you are actually contracting with.
1. Who we are
OODA (“OODA”, “we”, “us”) operates the day-use hotel booking platform at ooda.online from Jounieh, Lebanon.
Contact: [email protected] · Bookings: [email protected] · WhatsApp: +961 71 284 112
2. What OODA is — and what it is not
OODA is a booking platform. We list hotels that have agreed to release rooms for daytime use, and we pass your booking request to the hotel you choose.
The accommodation contract is between you and the hotel. OODA is not a party to it. We do not own, operate, staff or control any hotel on this site. The hotel is responsible for the room, the facilities, the service and everything that happens during your visit.
What we are responsible for is this platform: showing you accurate information as given to us by the hotel, transmitting your booking correctly, and helping you if something goes wrong.
3. What a day-use booking is
A day-use booking gives you a hotel room for a defined window during the day, not overnight. On this site the standard windows are 06:00–12:00 and 12:00–18:00, and the window you select is the window you get. Some hotels may offer different windows; the ones shown on the listing at the time you book are the ones that apply.
You must leave by the end of your window. Staying beyond it is not included and the hotel may charge you for it at its own rates.
A day-use booking does not include an overnight stay. If you want to stay the night, book directly with the hotel.
4. Eligibility and your account
You must be 18 or over and legally able to enter into a contract.
An account is created for you automatically when you complete your first booking, using the username and password you choose on the confirmation page. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for bookings made through your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else is using it.
You must give accurate details. A booking made with a false name or an unreachable phone number may be refused by the hotel on arrival.
5. How booking works
- You choose a hotel, a date, a time window and one or more rooms, and submit your details.
- You receive a confirmation email from [email protected], and the hotel receives your booking at the same time.
- The hotel holds the room for your window.
Check that your confirmation email shows the correct date, time window and room. If anything is wrong, contact us or the hotel straight away — the details in your confirmation are what the hotel will work from.
If the hotel cannot honour a booking (for example the room becomes unavailable), we or the hotel will contact you as quickly as possible and you will owe nothing.
6. Prices, and what is included
Prices are shown in US dollars and are per room, for the whole time window, unless the listing says otherwise.
The price covers the room and whatever the listing explicitly says is included. Anything else — food and drink, spa or pool extras, parking where it is chargeable, late departure — is not included and is paid to the hotel separately.
Local taxes or service charges may be added by the hotel. Where we know the amount we show it; where we do not, the hotel will tell you at check-in. Prices can change at any time, but never for a booking you have already made.
7. Payment — there is none on this site
OODA takes no payment. There is no card required to book, no deposit, no booking fee and no online checkout. We do not collect or store card details at any point.
You pay the hotel directly at reception, when you arrive, by whatever means that hotel accepts. Ask the hotel in advance if you need to know whether it takes cards.
Because no money changes hands on this site, there is nothing for OODA to refund. Any dispute about a charge is between you and the hotel, though we will help you raise it.
8. Changing, cancelling, and not turning up
Cancellation is free. You may cancel a booking at no cost at any time before your time window begins. Cancel from your account, or message us on WhatsApp or email — whichever is quicker.
Changes. To move a booking to another date, window or room, cancel and rebook, or ask us and we will arrange it with the hotel where we can.
If you do not turn up. You owe nothing, because you have paid nothing. But please cancel if your plans change: a no-show costs the hotel a room it could have released to someone else, and repeated no-shows may lead us to suspend your account.
If the hotel cancels. You owe nothing, and we will help you find an alternative where one exists. Our liability in that situation is set out in section 11.
9. Arriving at the hotel
Bring photo ID. Hotels in Lebanon are generally required to register guests and may refuse entry without it.
You are a guest of the hotel and subject to its house rules — dress code, pool and gym rules, guest numbers, noise, smoking policy. The listing tells you what we know; the hotel decides.
The hotel may refuse or end your stay, without refund from anyone, if you arrive intoxicated, behave abusively, bring more guests than you booked, or break its rules or the law. You are responsible for damage you or your guests cause.
Only the number of guests you booked for may use the room.
10. Reviews and content
Only guests who have completed a booking may leave a review, and a review must be your honest first-hand experience of that visit.
Do not post anything false, abusive, discriminatory, obscene, or that identifies other guests or staff. We may remove a review that breaks this rule, but we will not remove one simply because a hotel dislikes it.
By posting a review you give OODA a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display and reproduce it on the site and in our marketing.
11. What we are and are not liable for
We take responsibility for operating this platform honestly and carefully.
We are not liable for the hotel’s performance — the state of the room, the quality of service, facilities that turn out to be closed, or anything that happens during your visit. Those are the hotel’s obligations under your contract with it.
We publish hotel information as the hotel supplies it. We check what we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is accurate or current at all times.
We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption or free of errors.
To the fullest extent Lebanese law allows, OODA’s total liability to you for any booking is limited to the price of that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — a missed meeting, a wasted journey, lost earnings.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your rights under Lebanese Consumer Protection Law No. 659/2005.
12. If something goes wrong
Tell us. WhatsApp +961 71 284 112 or email [email protected].
If the problem is happening while you are at the hotel, raise it with reception first — most things are fixed fastest on the spot — and tell us as well. We will take it up with the hotel on your behalf. We will acknowledge a complaint within 2 working days.
13. Hotel partners
If you list a property on OODA, these additional terms apply.
- You confirm you are authorised to offer the rooms you list.
- Listing information — rooms, prices, windows, capacity, photos, facilities — must be accurate and kept up to date. Photos must be of your property.
- You must honour every booking we pass to you at the price shown, or tell us immediately if you cannot.
- You keep the room price paid at check-in. OODA’s commission is set out in your separate partner agreement; nothing in these public terms changes it.
- You will handle guest data only for the booking, in line with our Privacy Policy and Lebanese Law No. 81/2018.
- Either side may end the arrangement with 30 days’ written notice. Bookings already accepted must still be honoured.
- Persistent failure to honour bookings, or materially inaccurate listings, may lead us to remove your listing immediately.
14. Using the site properly
Do not scrape the site, make fake or automated bookings, interfere with its operation, or copy its content for a competing service. The OODA name, design and content belong to us or our licensors.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published here when you make a booking is the version that applies to it. Material changes will be announced on the site.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by Lebanese law, and the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction — without depriving you of any protection you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
