Booking a Meeting Room by the Day in Jounieh

Meeting space in Beirut is an awkward category. Hotel conference rooms are priced for corporate budgets, co-working spaces charge per person and are rarely quiet, and cafés are not a serious option for anything confidential.

Day-use pricing solves this quite neatly for small teams.

What $50 gets you

At Al Murjan Palace Hotel in Jounieh, the conference room is bookable by the day at $50, for up to 25 people. That is a private room, a closed door, hotel power and air conditioning, and 24/7 reception — twenty minutes up the coast from Beirut.

Priced per head for a team of eight, that is a little over $6 each. There is no per-person co-working rate in Beirut that competes.

Where it fits

• Quarterly planning or an offsite. Small teams get more done outside the office, and Jounieh is close enough that nobody loses a day to travel.
• Client presentations. A hotel meeting room reads as more serious than a café table, at a fraction of the cost of a Beirut hotel's corporate rate.
• Interviews and hiring days. A private room, a professional front desk, and somewhere for candidates to wait.
• Training sessions and workshops. The 25-person capacity covers most.
• Board or partner meetings where you need a door that actually closes.

The power argument

This is the part that decides it for most Lebanese teams. A hotel runs on proper backup power because it has to — guests do not tolerate outages. If your meeting involves a projector, a video call with someone abroad, or eight laptops, the hotel is the venue where that is simply not a risk.

Pair it with a room

If you have someone travelling in for the meeting, or you want somewhere to work before and after, add a day-use room. A Deluxe Sea View at $40 gives you a private base for the same session. For a full day — meeting room plus a room to work from — you are still under $100.

For something less formal

Al Murjan also has a private rooftop lounge at $100 for the day. It is the better choice for a team lunch, an informal strategy session, or the social half of an offsite — a different kind of room, with the bay in front of it.

1. Sessions run 06:00–12:00 and 12:00–18:00. Book the block that matches your agenda and start on time.
2. Confirm what is in the room — screen, projector, seating layout — when you book, rather than on the morning.
3. Ask about catering separately if you need lunch for the group.
